About Belitung Shipwreck

A 9th century Arab vessel carrying a colossal Tang dynasty ceramic cargo of about 60,000 objects. Discovered by fishermen in 1998. Proved direct sea trade between China and the Middle East a thousand years ago. The cargo sale caused controversy.
